when...

Just about anywhere there's climbable rock! The most popular local sites are Freyr (...the biggest and the best!), Beez, Dave, Mozet, Yvoir, Landelies, Berdorf (in Luxembourg - NB. you now need a permit!), ...

You didn't think there was so much climbing in Belgium? Well, check out the
crags on the Belclimb site

Remember, to climb on crags in Belgium you need to be a member of a UIAA affiliated club. You also need to be insured! See club information for more details

Saturdays or Sundays throughout the year, and occasionally evenings in the summer - weather permitting. Co-ordination is via the club's e-mail list - once you're on this, you'll know everything (and probably be bombarded with stuff you don't want to know ... you have been warned!)

For the long weekends and holiday weeks, destinations are further afield - check out our programme of trips for the year.

what...

...courses

The above are all sport (bolt-protected) climbing, though on the more adventurous side we also have advocates of traditional climbing (...place your own gear), alpine climbing, ski-touring, ice climbing (cascades), ...

We organise courses in indoor & outdoor techniques every year - these are run by qualified experts and are especially appreciated by novices. ClimbEURs' fees are subsidised by the club.
